Effective Relationships in Business was originally developed for ICL/Fujitsu.
It came out of a conversation with an HR partner, in response to the "what makes the difference?", she said "It's how good they are at relationships".
This was 12 years ago, before Daniel Goldman's popularity, but is the same basic understanding. People who are sustainably effective in business, are effective in relationships and people who are effective in relationships understand themselves, understand others and are skilled at the flow in between. This is the emotional Intelligence model.
The ICL/Fujitsu work incorporated People Developments work on NLP and MBTI and led to Effective Relationships being evolved and used in many clients.
