Strategy to Reality through Leadership and Action Learning
Integration of NHS Primary Care teams and Social Care teams has been a strategic goal over the last few years. By developing the leadership skills of team leaders and working with them over months to actually implement the strategy, real concrete benefits have accrued to individuals, teams and ultimately the client and patient.
The programme has run 3 times and focuses on helping Leaders and Managers understand strategy and work with implementation in their particular circumstances. It starts with a 2 day module and follows with Action Learning sets over a 6 to 9 month period.
At the end of the programme each participant presents to Directors what they have achieved, the learning and realities of implementing the strategy. This has been very valuable for both the participants and for the Directors.
